Common questions
Do you work with non-technical founders?
Yes — most of our clients are non-technical. We handle the translation layer between product vision and engineering execution. You don't need to know how the code works; you need to know what problem you're solving.
What does "fixed-cost" actually mean?
We agree on scope, deliverables, and price before work begins. We don't bill by the hour. If we scope it wrong, that's on us — the price doesn't change unless you change the scope.
How long does a typical project take?
Small MVPs and well-scoped features typically run 6–12 weeks. Larger builds vary. We'll give you a realistic timeline in the scope document before you commit.
What stack do you build in?
React or Next.js on the frontend, Node.js on the backend, PostgreSQL for the database. TypeScript throughout. We use this stack because it's modern, widely supported, and easy to hand off.
Can you take over an existing codebase?
Sometimes. We do a paid technical review first to assess the health of the codebase. If it's something we can maintain and extend responsibly, we'll say yes. If not, we'll tell you why.
Do you handle design?
We do product design at the wireframe and spec level as part of PM work. We don't provide brand design or visual design as a standalone service — if you need that, we can refer you to designers we trust.
